“So You Wanna Be On Stage?”
Intro to Musical Theatre
Ages 5yrs-1st Grade
This fun filled class is for our Broadway
Babies! Students will experience many
aspects of theatre: audition technique,
improv games, stage directions, vocal
technique, choreography and much more!
The students will perform a mini nonproduced
play and/or musical number at
the end of each semester for friends and
family! This class is an encouraging
environment that will allow your child to
develop their theatrical passions and find
their inner star!

Intro to Musical Theatre ~ “Crazy for You”
New Students Only
Grades 2-8
This class is for all new students who want to do it all:
acting, singing, & dancing! This performance-based class
will feature songs from the George Gershwin musical,
“Crazy for You” as well as original dances and scenes.
Students will rehearse and perform in a mini nonproduced
version of this fun- filled show! This group will
have a performance on The Legacy Theatre stage for
friends and family!
MUSICAL THEATRE
Must have taken Broadway Workshop or Intro to Musical Theatre
“An Evening of Rodger s & Hammerstein"
Musical Theatre
GRADES 2-5
Students will perform songs and scenes from
Broadway's greatest writing team. Selections
include songs from such classics as,
“Oklahoma”, “The Sound of Music”, “South
Pacific”, and “Carousel”.
“An Evening of Andrew Lloyd Webber"
Musical Theatre
GRADES 6-12
Student s will perform songs and scenes from one of the world’s most popular contemporary composers. Selections include songs from such classics as, “Joseph…Dreamcoat”, “Cats ”, “The Phantom of the Opera”, and “Starlight Express”.
Acting/Improvisation
Grades 2-5 & 6-12
Yes! Acting can be taught! Everything it takes to be a great actor is inside of you, waiting to get out! This class will introduce students to the exercises and methods that have been used by actors all over the world to develop their craft. Several weeks will also be spent on developing students’ improvisational comedy skills. A short nonproduced play will conclude the class. The class will also help students to develop material for auditions in order to land the part.

Theatre Dance
Grades 2-12
This class is for the student who wants to be
a true triple threat! We will be focusing on
the basic dance techniques needed to
audition and perform in musical theatre.
Student will be taught jazz and tap technique,
proper warm up exercises, and original
choreography from famous Broadway shows!
Students will have a showcase for parents at
the end of each semester!
