Theatre for Young Stars!
Intro: Ages 5yrs – 6yrs

This fun-filled class is for our Broadway Babies! Students will learn about many aspects of theatre: stage directions, improvisation games, vocal technique, choreography, overcoming stage fright and much more! The students will perform a number from a Broadway or movie musical at the end of each semester for friends and family! This class is an encouraging environment that will allow your child to develop their theatrical passions and find their inner star!

Theatre for Young Stars!
Level 1: 1st Graders

This class is a continuation class for our Broadway Babies! Students will learn about many aspects of theatre: stage directions, improvisation games, vocal technique, choreography, overcoming stage fright and much more! The students will perform a number from a Broadway or movie musical at the end of each semester for friends and family! This class is an encouraging environment that will allow your child to develop their theatrical passions and find their inner star!

Intro to Musical Theatre:
Level 1: Grades 2nd – 5th (New students only)

This class is for those new students who want to do it all: acting, singing,& dancing! This performance-based class will feature songs, dances, and scenes from Broadway show Crazy for You! Students can move into our Intermediate Music Theatre class once they complete this course. The class will end with a
performance on The Legacy Theatre stage for friends and family!

Intermediate Acting/Improv Comedy:
Level 2: Grades 2nd – 5th

Yes! Acting can be taught! Everything it takes to be a great actor is inside of you, waiting to get out! This class will introduce students to the exercises and methods used by actors to develop their craft with a special emphasis on improvisation and theatre games. The class will share and demonstrate their newfound skills in a final showcase.

Intermediate Musical Theatre:
Level 2: Grades 2nd – 5th

This intermediate level class is for the musical theatre student who has completed our Intro to Music Theatre course. This performance-based class will feature songs, dances, and scenes from the best of Broadway! Each session will offer a new musical review for your child to be a part of. This group will perform their review at the end of each semester on The Legacy Theatre stage!

Advanced Acting/Improv Comedy:
Level 3: Grades 6th – 12th

Improvisation is the foundation for all acting techniques. Improv helps the aspiring actor by building confidence, improving teamwork skills, expanding the imagination, and enhancing quick decision-making. Do you love being creative and thinking on your feet? Do you love making an audience laugh? This class is for you! This class will help you become a better improviser and a better actor! This class ends with an improv comedy night for a live audience in the Little Theatre.

Advanced Musical Theatre:
Level 3: Grades 6th – 12th

This advanced class is for students who have completed our Intermediate Musical Theatre course and will feature songs, dances, and scenes from the best of Broadway! This class will also prepare your student for upcoming auditions and performances. This group will perform on The Legacy Theatre stage at the end of each semester!

Pre-Professional Musical Theatre:
Level 4: Grades 9th – 12th

The Pre-Professional class is designed to prepare our students for life in the "real world" of theatre. They will be able to work individually on audition songs and monologues as well as some group numbers and scenes. This class will prepare them for college and professional auditions. This course is for students who have completed Levels 1-3 and are in high school. Placement for new students must be approved by the Legacy staff. This group will perform on The Legacy Theatre stage at the end of each semester!
