The Legacy Theatre, a full-time professional theatre, is holding auditions by appointment only for three shows in its 2008-09 mainstage and children’s seasons. NON-EQUITY PERFORMERS. Mainstage play is the WORLD PREMIERE of Joe Landry’s “Vintage Hitchcock: A Live Radio Play,” Oct. 17-Nov. 2: The Legacy is the first ever to produce this new show by the author of “It’s A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play.” Seeking 1 male with broad acting range, ability to portray several different characters, experience with European accents, voices. Weekend performances.
Children’s series shows include “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow,” Oct. 13-24: Seeking 1 male with broad acting range/physicality, ability to portray several different characters, experience with children’s story theatre. “The Elves and the Shoemaker,” Dec. 1-19: 2F or 1M, 1F to portray elves, 5’6” or under, 18+, high-energy, comedic actors, tumbling a plus. All children’s series performances at 9AM and 11AM, Mon.-Fri. in Tyrone, one Saturday morning performance. Please prepare two contrasting one-minute monologues. You may be asked to read from the script.
