Auditions for Legacy Season

The Legacy Theatre will have an audition for those students currently enrolled in Legacy Studios and/or Legacy Dance for our upcoming mainstage show, Jane Eyre: The Musical. The audition will take place on September 6th between 6:30 and 7:30PM at the theatre. The audition will be first come, first serve.

This audition is for current Legacy Studios/Dance students ONLY. The audition is open only to those students between the ages of 8 and 13.

We are casting the roles of Young Jane Eyre (app. age 10) as well as Adele (app. age 8). Young Jane is a precocious, outspoken, and loving child. She speaks with an English accent. Adele is Edward Rochester's daughter. She is outgoing and theatrical. She speaks with a French accent. Accents are optional at the audition. Those wishing to audition for either role will need to sing measures 1-35 of "The Graveside Scene". The sheet music and track is available for download below.

Those auditioning will be provided an accompaniment track with which to sing at the actual audition. Those auditioning will not be allowed to sing with the track containing the original actresses voice. Those Legacy Dance students who have class during this time will be excused from class to sing.
