Auditions for Annie and Orphans in Annie

The Legacy Theatre, a full-time professional theatre, is holding open auditions for the role of Annie and all female orphans for their summer musical, Annie.  All orphan roles are being cast.  Auditions will be held on Saturday, March 13 from 8:30AM to 1:00PM at The Legacy Theatre at 1175 Senoia Road, Tyrone, GA  30290.  NON-EQUITY PERFORMERS.  Auditions on the 13th are only for those interested in the role of Annie or female orphans, ages 6-14 only.  All boys and females ages 15 and up, please refer to the general audition notice.  Those wishing to audition must sing one of three songs from the show:  “Hard Knock Life”, “Maybe”, “Dressed…Smile” or “Tomorrow”.  All those wishing to be considered for the role of Annie must sing “Tomorrow”.  Accepted and recommended cuts of these three songs are available for download at http://www.thelegacytheatre.org/Theatre_Info/auditions.php.  If you are preparing your own cut, please use no more than 16 bars.  Must sing with piano accompaniment.  No CDs or a cappella singing.  All auditionees will perform a short dance combination that will be taught at the audition.  Three casts will be selected from these auditions.  Cast A will rehearse June 14-18 and will perform July 9-18; Cast B will rehearse June 21-25 and will perform July 20-25; Cast C will rehearse June 28-July 2 and will perform July 27-August 1.  Rehearsal times will be from 1PM-5PM, M-F.  A performance fee is required if cast.  For more info e-mail Mark Smith, Art. Professional Auditions for Annie

The Legacy Theatre, a full-time professional theatre, is holding auditions by appointment only for Annie. NON-EQUITY PERFORMERS. Auditions are open to ages 15+.  Auditions will be held Sunday, March 14 from 1:30PM-4:30PM; Monday, March 15 from 7-9:00PM at The Legacy Theatre at 1175 Senoia Road, Tyrone, GA 30290. ALL ROLES ARE BEING CAST.  Please prepare 16-32 bars of one musical theatre song in the style of Annie and one short comedic monologue.  Accompanist provided.  Recorded accompaniment is fine, player provided.  May be asked to read from the script or sing a selection from the show.  May be asked to attend a dance callback to be held after the audition.  Please bring appropriate attire.  Paid positions and apprenticeships available.  Must have appointment.  Rehearsals begin June 17.  Performances are July 9-August 1.  For more info or to make an audition appointment e-mail Mark Smith, Art.
